Shisem Lashes and Darkness Eyelash/Double Eyelid Glue

I was in a small Korean cosmetics store in L.A. where I found some false lashes and glue so I decided to give them try. I opted for lashes that are very natural looking. I really like the way they look on me! I personally prefer false lashes over mascara. I think mascara gets a little clumpy sometimes but with false lashes, they look so smooth and perfect.

I really like how the lashes subtly enhance my eyes. They give extra length and the criss-cross pattern makes it look very natural. I have no complaints about these lashes. They are lightweight and absolutely gorgeous! These lashes come with two little tubes of glue. I was confused at first because I wasn't sure if they each one had a special purpose. From what I've read online, everyone recommends using the yellow tube. It's stronger and lasts longer.

I tried the Darkness eyelash/eyelid glue with these lashes. It works quite well as an eyelash glue but it gets very very sticky once it gets tacky, so avoid rubbing it or you'll get gluey clumps. I found it a little difficult to remove the glue even with makeup remover.

I also tried using this as a double eyelid glue but it did not work well for me. Overall, it was an uncomfortable feeling having my eyelids glued. Also, I already have small double eyelids so the glue just gave me a weird quadruple eyelid kind of thing.

Here are a couple more shots of the lashes from the front and the side.

I highly recommend this brand of lashes! They are natural looking and perfect for everyday wear!

  3. Love how natural these lashes look on you! Personally prefer mascara over false lashes though since they're a pain to apply.

    1. Actually it used to be all a light orange/brown color but it grew out! The black is my natural color. I want to ombré it though. :)
