4 Honest and Raw Movies About Love You Need To See

I'm a sucker for romantic movies – they never fail to make me smile or give me a little boost. But I've found that the ones that really made an impact on me are the ones so raw and honest about life, ones that don't always necessarily have a happy beginning, middle, or ending. Romantic movies give us so many expectations and fantasies. They almost dictate the way love should be, but it's so one-sided. We hardly see the many other realities of love.

So here's a list of some of the honest-to-God movies that spoke to me on many levels.

Travel In Style: JORD Wood Watch Review + Giveaway

A wooden watch may be your next must-have accessory.

If you're like me, you do not like to stuff your suitcases when traveling - just the bare essentials. And you definitely don't like clunky jewelry and accessories getting in your way when you're doing things like riding the gondolas in Venice, exploring the wonders of Antelope Canyon, or getting up close and personal with the deer in Nara Park. But at the same time, you want to travel in style and look good for the camera! After all, there are so many photo ops when you're traveling.

Tarte Tarteist PRO Amazonian Clay Palette Review

This Tarteist Palette review is long overdue because I've had this for almost a year now, but it's still one of my current favorites so I had to write a post on this!

The two shades that sold me on this palette are Whimsy and Mod. They are absolutely gorgeous reddish and orangey shades that are perfect for Fall eye makeup looks. Before getting the Tarteist Palette, I was actually eyeing the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette because the shades were pretty similar, but I ended up wanting the Tarteist Palette more because it had more shades to choose from and seemed like a better fit for my everyday looks.

4 Easy Tips To Boost Your Productivity

Hello everyone! You must be surprised to see me. If you read my previous post, I said I was ready to jump back into blogging and HERE I FINALLY AM, after six months lol. I kept putting it off because life just got in the way, with so many events happening during senior year of college (and I was just being lazy to be completely honest). Well now that I am an official college graduate and definitely have way more free time. Thank you so much for reading if you're still here with me! I've been on my hiatus for far too long, so let's try this again.

Being productive and accomplishing what you actually planned on doing is probably something everyone struggles with a little. (I know I do.) So here are some of my top tips on how to stay productive and accomplish the tasks you set out for yourself!

OOTD: 12/20/16

It's been a while! Sorry to have been so MIA the past few months. Studying abroad definitely monopolized most of my time – but now I'm back in California and ready to get back in the blogging game.

So I'm kicking off the new year with a short and sweet outfit of the day post. I'm a little delayed (like a entire month late) at posting this, but I wanted to share this because it's been one of my favorite looks lately.

With winter in full swing (well about as wintery as it can get here in Southern California), I've paired an oversized sweater from H&M with Forever 21 shorts and thigh-high boots from Marshalls for an effortless look. I got many compliments on it and I honestly felt like I was in my pajamas. This complete outfit only cost about $70 which shows that you don't have to break the bank to channel your inner fashionista!

Sorry for the awkward pose. Clearly I am not an Instagram model.

Touring Venice

A week before my study abroad program began, I decided to take a trip to Italy first! Every moment there felt like a dream. First stop was Venice, and then I later ventured into Rome. The views of Venice were breathtaking – full of dreamy skies, beautiful aged buildings, and charming canals. It's a place that I will never forget.

Back at it again with another wish list! Here's what I currently have my eye on.

Scratch Map

I've been doing so much traveling around Europe lately. It's only appropriate that I get this adorable scratch map to document all the places I've visited! I think this would make for an interesting piece of decor for my all white bedroom.

Le Pilage Bag - Longchamp

I am so excited to visit Paris in two weeks. Not only for the views, but also for the shopping! ;) I'm not about to drop a thousand euros on a bag (maybe someday when I'm making more money), but a Longchamp Le Pilage seems like a good compromise. This would be a cute bag for school/work or also just when I'm out and about running errands. I just can't decide between the black or navy! Maybe both?!

Watch - Fossil / Daniel Wellington

I don't wear watches very often because I don't like the clunky feeling on my wrist, but these two watches are quite dainty looking. Currently I have one of those big rose gold watches that were popular a few years back. I think it's time for an update – I would love to add a new timepiece to my wardrobe!

Boyfriend Jeans - Urban Outfitters

I've been putting this off forever because it's so difficult for me to find pants that fit me right, and jeans shopping is like my least favorite thing ever. But I'm still on the lookout for a pair of boyfriend jeans similar to this UO one. I'll have to buy a pair sooner or later!

Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette - Tarte

Aren't these shades gorgeous? I currently use the Tartelette Palette, but this one caught my eye because of the pretty purple and burgundy shades. I'll definitely keep my eye out for this the next time I need a new palette.

What Past Relationships Taught Me

Though the end of every relationship is difficult, I choose to see the upside of it all. Each relationship is a stepping stone towards discovering what I want and don't want in love and life.
